Position Summary
As the T56/Helicopter Programs Lifecycle Engineer, you will be responsible for providing customer support and executing investigations into in-service events for the T56, M250, RR300 and CTS800 engines. This includes collecting and analyzing data and event descriptions provided by field service reps and operators.
With this attractive opportunity you will coordinate efforts of design, performance, controls, and metallurgical engineers, determine root cause and corrective action, and providing technical information to program management, field service reps, operators, and OEMs. You will also be responsible for completing the Red Top process, assisting Air Safety Investigation as needed during initial investigation, coordinating numerical risk assessment, identifying containment actions, determining root cause, and drafting closure documents. You will support publication of Commercial Bulletins, support Technical Variances (TVs) and Technical Queries (TQs), and identifying service-related product improvements. Reports to: Technical Lead – Lifecycle and Safety for T56/Helicopters.
