GE Aerospace is seeking a Staff Fluid Systems Design Engineer to support the research and development of fluid delivery systems for hypersonic air-breathing propulsion and vehicle systems. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, analyze, test, and mature fluid system technologies that support the development of flight-ready hardware.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in engineering principles, strong analytical and test capability, and the ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative technical environment. This role offers the opportunity to support advanced propulsion applications through computational analysis, hardware validation, and cross-functional problem solving.
Roles and Responsibilities
Designing, testing, and implementing fluid delivery systems in support of high-speed engines, most notably hot fuel delivery systems.
Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
