About the role
Key Responsibilities
Manage and continuously improve the Quality Assurance System across Part-CAMO, Part-145 and Part-147 activities
Ensure compliance with applicable EASA regulations, company procedures and safety standards
Monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, investigations and occurrences
Act as focal point for regulatory authority audits and inspections
Support Accountable Manager and Nominated Persons regarding quality and compliance matters
Personnel Authorisations
Oversee the issuance, amendment, suspension and withdrawal of personnel authorisations
Ensure compliance of certifying staff, support staff and authorised personnel with qualification and competency requirements
Monitor recurrent training, continuation training and authorisation validity
Supplier & Vendor Oversight
Manage the supplier evaluation and approval programme
Ensure initial and recurrent assessments of approved suppliers and subcontractors
Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Maintain the approved supplier and vendor list
Airworthiness Review Activities
Ensure proper conduct of Airworthiness Reviews in accordance with EASA requirements
Supervise Airworthiness Review Staff activities and recommendations
Monitor continuing airworthiness compliance and associated records
Quality Control Leadership
Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team, including Quality Control Inspectors
Establish departmental objectives, performance indicators and development plans
Promote a proactive quality and compliance culture across the organisaation
Continuous Improvement
Identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities
Support process optimisation and digitalisation initiatives
Facilitate root cause investigations and implementation of effective corrective actions
Drive best practices throughout maintenance and airworthiness activities
Facilitate MOCs & Risk Assessments within M&E
Essential Requirements
Education
a relevant engineering or technical degree, or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with appropriate experience.
