What You Will Do
Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January- July/August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
As an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Collins Aerospace, you will be involved in the development of digital hardware circuit boards for new products. Responsibilities will also include support of existing products including product recertification driven by minor or major changes, cost savings identification, troubleshooting equipment from the field or OEM assembly line and obsolescence management. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge avionics networking technologies that directly impact aircraft performance, safety, and reliability. We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our Avionics Network Hardware team within the Computing Products Department of the Displays, Controls, Computing & Networking Directorate.
Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers (Processors, FPGAs, Memory, high-speed interfaces).
Operate lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
