Manage inventory levels and trades effectively.Internal Processes: Monitor and reconcile vendor consignments, customer stock COP, and repair triggering. Perform material forecasting, manage purchasing budgets, and update costing models. Support material planning, sales, and asset valuation. Collaborate with the purchasing team, including buyers, material coordinators, and material planners, and participate in budget review and operational planning meetings.Process Improvement: Drive process mapping and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the supply chain. Optimize procurement and service coordination across global MTU locations.Supplier Contract Management: Conduct thorough reviews of supplier contracts, perform pricing checks, and analyze terms to provide strategic recommendations.Supply Chain Analysis: Perform comprehensive risk analysis and market reviews to identify opportunities within the supply chain while assessing the financial impacts of these activities for informed decision-making.Supplier Performance Evaluation: Analyze supplier KPIs to assess performance and collaborate with suppliers on development initiatives to address both short and long-term supply chain challenges.
