The successful candidate will:
-Impliment lean manufacturing initiatives throughout a production enviroment
-Drive for cycle time and waste reductions
-Develop, plan and implement business layouts, process flows, tooling/equipment and cost and quality improvements
-Have experience leading and communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences
Preferred Experience in a manufacturing and aviation enviroment.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years manufacturing engineering, design engineering, or related technical experience. Position Purpose:Under moderate supervision, provides direct technical support to manufacturing operations and internal customers. Develops procedures and processes to streamline and optimize manufacturing operations. Interfaces with external suppliers for supplier related issues.
