Role Introduction

Reports to: Head of Dinning & Hospitality

Shape the next stage of Dining & Hospitality through a six-month advisory assignment that combines transformation, business continuity and operational excellence. You will support audit readiness, the execution of a bundled tender contract, value-adding initiatives and digital and process transformation projects.
Acting as a trusted bridge between established operational knowledge and the future operating model, you will help retain critical expertise, strengthen governance and develop capability across newly established teams. Your contribution will protect operational stability while helping Dining & Hospitality move forward with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Dining & Hospitality for corporate International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audits, internal audits and other regulatory or compliance assessments
• Guide teams on audit readiness, operational controls and documentation standards
• Embed a risk-based compliance culture across Dining & Hospitality, including outsourced partners, in collaboration with the Manager, Compliance
• Strengthen governance practices so that compliance requirements are integrated into day-to-day operations
• Optimise operational processes and workflows with the Commercial & Value Planning team and other functions during the Cathay Dining transition to enterprise resource planning
• Coordinate change management across teams to support the adoption of new processes and ways of working
• Safeguard business continuity and minimise disruption during organisational restructuring, transitions and operating-model changes
• Capture and transfer critical operational, supplier, governance and compliance knowledge across Dining & Hospitality teams
• Provide historical context, operational insights and lessons learned to inform decision-making, risk management, learning and training needs
• Establish sustainable governance frameworks, documentation standards and consistent operating procedures that support strategic transformation

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in airline catering, hospitality operations, supplier management, quality assurance, operational governance, compliance, or related service industries
• Bachelor's degree in Catering and Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline

• Demonstrated experience supporting organizational transformation, operational excellence, business continuity, and change management initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, food safety, operational safety and quality assurance requirements
• Good communication, coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving organizational environment.
