About the role
As Project Administrator, you’ll provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Senior Project Manager, Program Coordinator, project managers and technical leads across the JP9101 Sustainment Program.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you’ll coordinate project documentation, meetings, reporting, registers, site visits and stakeholder activities, helping ensure key milestones, actions and deliverables remain on track.
This is a varied role that requires strong organisation, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a project environment.

You’ll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, undertake initial investigations and prepare summaries, maintain project records and registers, and identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, tools and ways of working.

About you
You’ll bring demonstrated experience in project administration, coordination or a similar role, with a strong understanding of administrative processes within a project environment.

Highly organised and proactive, you’ll be comfortable working with limited supervision, managing competing deadlines and using your initiative to resolve issues and keep activities moving.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills will be essential, along with a high level of attention to detail and confidence working across documentation, reporting, registers and project systems.

Your collaborative approach, professionalism and commitment to continuous improvement will enable you to build effective relationships across the project team and contribute positively to the successful delivery of the Sustainment Program.

To be successful in this position you will bring:

  • Diploma in Project Management or in a related field.
  • Relevant experience in an administration or coordination role, preferably within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Prior experience supporting projects/business areas in a specialist subject matter area.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Must either hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
