Tasks
Success in this role comes from mastering the balance between challenge and support. You'll champion operational excellence by holding yourself and others to high standards, while serving as a trusted advisor and partner to the teams you support.
What You'll Do
- Drive operational performance and continuous improvement
- Partner with local teams and ground handling agents to enhance safety, security, service quality, compliance, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Monitor operational performance indicators. Identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead performance reviews, operational assessments, audits
- Analyze trends, root causes, and operational risks. Develop sustainable corrective actions
- Act as local focal point for operational projects, process improvements & strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with colleagues at headquarters & across the global network to implement best practices and operational standards
- Manage supplier performance & foster strong partnerships with internal/external stakeholders
* Takeover of additional tasks when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in air cargo, aviation, logistics, transportation, or comparable operational environment
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and solving complex problems
- Experience working with suppliers/providers/operational partners
