Our Team:

Reporting to the Head of Productivity and User experience in the Business & Information Solutions (BIS) team your role will be to help us in the journey of continuing to Modernize our workplace through new technologies and user engagement and adaptability on pre-existing applications.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Coordinating project activities with an emphasis on user experience & collaboration for Bombardier’s Digital strategy
  • Interacting with business and/or technology partners to understand business needs, facilitate or co-facilitate requirements gathering sessions, investigate solutions, and help with cost benefit analysis
  • Developing content and communications material to support team objectives
  • Develop and convert training design documents, PowerPoint presentations, and job aids into engaging eLearning courses.
  • Managing team action plans, initiative demand tracking and capacity planning activities for current and future business opportunities.
  • Supporting project management, portfolio management, financial management and budget forecasting activities.
  • Providing business analysis, and execute research in user experience, innovation and collaboration capabilities.
  • Producing business requirement artifacts including personas, journey maps, use case development, user stories, and non-functional specifications.
  • Performing quality assurance reviews to validate functionality, navigation, content accuracy, and learner experience.
  • Maintaining training repositories, SharePoint content, and learning asset libraries.
  • Participating in team meetings and creative brainstorming
  • Supporting and drive process improvement initiatives

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s program in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, Technical Writing, Digital Learning, UX, or a related field
  • You have strong writing and editing skills
  • You have interest in learning Articulate 360 (Rise 360 and Storyline 360)Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and exposure to Business IT Management is an asset
  • You have excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and engagement skills both verbal and written
  • You work interdependently - consulting and collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders
  • You possess excellent attention to detail
  • You are well-organized and able to manage multiple activities with conflicting deadlines, and have solid priority and time management skills
  • You are a flexible self-starter who works well with little supervision and has strong ownership for the work, critical thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • You have proven analytical skills with the ability to apply results of analysis
