Tasks

Your tasks as Procurement Manager - cMRO may include, among others:

• Manage & negotiate component repairs
• Manage supplier relationships & act as the primary interface between vendors & internal stakeholders
• Manage assigned sourcing activities, procurement work packages, projects, supplier portfolios, & sourcing initiatives
• Prepare commercial recommendations & decision memos based on market insights
• Participating in supplier negotiations & contract discussions
• Driving procurement process improvements & identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor MRO market and develop new sources
• Forecast & track procurement/cMRO projects, taking corrective measures
• Explore business opportunities & projects cMRO packages
• Prepare & coordinate cMRO RFQs and evaluate supplier responses
• Participate in supplier visits & industry shows

* All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master´s degree desirable
• 1-2 years of experience in Aviation / Purchasing / Contract Management desirable
• Fluency in English language required
• German & Spanish language desirable
• Knowledge in Aviation MRO, Accounting and/or Customer Service desirable
• Knowledge in SAP desirable
• Expert MS Office skills
