Manager - Technology Procurement

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To lead and optimize procurement activities for the assigned portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, cost efficiency, supplier performance, and compliance with governance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and executes category strategies for technology domains including SaaS, cloud consumption, on-prem infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT professional services, and telecom.
• Leads RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations with software vendors, cloud providers, managed service partners, and OEMs.
• Conducts market analysis, vendor benchmarking, and spend analytics to identify cost‑saving opportunities across technology categories. Evaluate licensing models (SaaS, subscription, perpetual), cloud consumption patterns, and hardware refresh cycles.
• Partners with Technology, Enterprise Information Security, Finance and Legal teams to align procurement strategies with enterprise technology roadmaps and risk frameworks.
• Influences senior technology stakeholders to adopt best‑practice sourcing, vendor consolidation, and value‑based decision making.
• Facilitates cross‑functional technology sourcing committees and governance reviews, ensuring relevant stakeholders are aligned on requirements, outcomes, and procurement decisions.
• Manages full contract lifecycle including renewals, amendments, SLAs, KPIs, and dispute resolution for technology vendors.
• Conducts regular vendor performance reviews, risk assessments, and compliance audits (GDPR, data‑processing terms).
• Ensures technology procurement activities adhere to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Delivers measurable savings, cost avoidance, and ROI across technology spend. Monitor budget adherence for SaaS subscriptions, cloud consumption, managed services, and infrastructure procurement.
• Prepares dashboards, reports, and presentations for technology leadership, audit committees, and governance forums.
• Influences senior stakeholders on technology procurement requirements to adopt best practices and drives value-based procurement decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Fluent in English
• A minimum of 8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in functional categories.
• Oracle ERP, SharePoint.
• Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification is desirable

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently report any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
