Head of Business Finance - Subsidiaries

We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially focused finance leader to join our Finance team as Head of Business Finance (Subsidiaries).
This role will act as the key finance business partner for Qatar Airways Group's subsidiary businesses, providing financial leadership, strategic planning, performance management, and decision support to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive financial excellence across multiple business entities while ensuring alignment with Group objectives and sustainable profitability.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning for subsidiary businesses.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and drive sustainable growth.
• Develop and present insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including KPI analysis and performance tracking.
• Build robust financial models and business cases to support investments, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and transformation projects.
• Conduct revenue, cost, profitability, and sensitivity analysis to support informed decision-making.
• Evaluate business risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies and commercial recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and business performance management.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Corporate functions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals while fostering a high-performance culture.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, governance requirements, and corporate reporting standards.
