Administrative & Accounting Officer – Protected Categories (Law 68/99)

We are looking for a candidate belonging to Protected Categories (Law 68/99, Art. 1 or Art. 18) to join our Ground Operations department, providing administrative support, cost control, and managing financial relations with airport suppliers and handlers.

The selected candidate will support the Ground Administration Manager in planning and operationally managing special (ad-hoc) flights, monitoring handling and airport costs, and performing financial analyses of ground handling activities.

Main responsibilities

• Support the management and coordination of ground handling activities for ad-hoc flights and special operations.
• Collect and monitor data and costs related to operational irregularities and airport disruptions.
• Verify the correct application of rates under standard ground handling agreements (SGHA) and compliance with contractual SLAs.
• Monitor and update handling and airport costs, ensuring full alignment with existing contracts.
• Analyze and validate invoices and pro-forma invoices received from Ground Service Providers (GSPs).
• Manage the approval process for invoices related to airport and handling services.
• Prepare monthly reports on airport costs, taxes, and ground handling services, collaborating with the Finance & Accounting Department.
• Support the resolution of disputes and financial discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Periodically transmit operational schedules and timetables to airport service providers.
