The role
As a Training Solution Architect, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll play a pivotal role in developing innovative training solutions that support critical defence and maritime operations. Working at the forefront of learning technology, simulation, and training transformation, you'll help shape winning solutions that deliver measurable value for customers while supporting business growth across Babcock's maritime portfolio.
Day-to-day, you'll be required to:
Developing innovative, compliant, and cost-effective training solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
Leading and supporting bid, proposal, and business-winning activities through training strategies, solution artefacts, and proofs of concept.
Acting as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on training systems, learning technologies, and simulation solutions.
Collaborating with operational, capability, training, and bid teams to create new products and services.
Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise training effectiveness and delivery.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at Andover. Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to other Babcock and customer sites, both nationally and internationally, will be expected.
Essential experience of the Training Solution Architect
Experience designing and delivering training systems and solutions within the maritime, naval, or merchant marine sectors.
Strong knowledge of the full training lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, delivery, evaluation, and assurance.
Experience developing innovative and commercially viable training solutions to support bids, proposals, and business growth.
