Job Description
L3Harris is currently searching for a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Supplier Quality Engineer supports customer, business, supply base, program, and product success through analysis and application of supply chain management, quality engineering, failure analysis, business acumen, and continuous improvement processes across the business and within the supply base. The Supplier Quality Engineer is a member of the Supply Chain team.
Essential Functions
Support and assist with the continuous improvement efforts, deployment and management of a business-appropriate Supplier Quality Engineering program addressing customer, supply base, proposal, process, program, and hardware areas
Assure financial goals and measures are met
Continuously improve the supplier quality assurance and incoming inspection organizations’ planning, tools and processes for the development, qualification, and management of suppliers and subcontractors
Measure, monitor, report, and improve the internal and external performance of all areas of responsibility, including supplier and subcontractor performance across the supply base
