Job Description
The L3Harris Spectral Solutions engineering team is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer to join our team onsite, providing critical support for our aerospace programs. This role applies current systems security engineering methods, practices and technologies to the architecture, design, development, evaluation and integration of systems and networks to maintain system security. The ISSE is responsible for integration of multiple methods into a cohesive system security perimeter and environment while implementing the policies and procedures necessary to monitor and maintain such an environment. This role prepares Certification and Accreditation documentation, using multiple industry standards such as NIST 800-37, to achieve security authorization of classified cloud, on-premises, and space systems.
Essential Functions
Manage the cybersecurity postures of space vehicles and cloud-based ground systems
Execute the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to attain Authorizations to Operate for classified ground and space national security systems
