Job Description
Procurement Professional with strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement with proficient knowledge of project management. This role manages procurements, projects, and processes that can be inside or outside of their immediate job area. Typically, responsible for managing multiple Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs. Explains, interprets, communicates and achieves cooperation on policies, procedures and practices with internal and external customers. May provide guidance and assistance to other employees. This position requires following established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks. Requires use and/or application of supply chain/procurement principles, theories, and concepts learned from prior experiences with the analysis of the issues. Work is performed with general supervision.
Essential Functions
Subcontract Strategy Formulation: Develop and execute subcontract strategies to align with program and organizational objectives, while effectively managing risks and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
