Position Summary
Based in Madrid, Spain, the Full Stack Software Engineer plays a key role in the development and evolution of Jet Aviation IFX, our proprietary In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) platform. Working in a global engineering environment, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that deliver innovative digital experiences for the aviation industry.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about software architecture, modern development practices, and building high-quality applications across the full technology stack. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team in Basel, contributing to cutting-edge solutions while continuously developing your expertise in modern software architecture, event-driven systems, and IoT technologies. Strong communication and teamwork skills in English are essential.
What you will do
Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
Design and implement scalable backend services using object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
Apply Clean Architecture principles to build modular, maintainable, and testable software solutions.
Implement software following CQRS (Command-Query Responsibility Segregation) and Event Sourcing patterns where appropriate.
Contribute to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and automated testing strategies.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
