The Operations Quality Engineer ensures that hardware products and test equipment comply with all quality, contractual, and regulatory requirements within established schedule and cost constraints. The role supports airborne programs by resolving fabrication issues, including defects, troubleshooting, teardowns, hardware re-installations, testing, and unit acceptance.
What You Will Do
Use critical thinking resources and methods to improve material processing; minimize inspection; resolve manufacturing defects/problems
Conduct timely identification, segregation, disposition, correction and closure of nonconforming material
Coordinate with cross-functional roles, such as Engineering, Manufacturing Technicians, and Production Control to identify trends and resolve nonconforming material
