Job Description
L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to support Munitions Acceleration Council Capacity Expansion efforts. This role requires a hands‑on quality engineer with deep technical expertise in aerospace materials and manufacturing processes, and proven experience in supplier qualification.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify new or existing suppliers, including international, and ensure they meet the stringent quality standards of the aerospace and defense industry.
Develop and execute supplier engagement strategies to ensure quality is embedded during MAC capacity expansion and production ramp‑up.
Assess supplier manufacturing processes, quality systems, and technical capability to meet missile production requirements.
Lead early supplier engagement to ensure manufacturability and robust quality planning.
Support capability development and process improvements to meet long‑term production growth.
Provide technical and strategic leadership for supplier quality performance, including quality planning, risk management, and continuous improvement.
