Job Description The Cloud DevOps Engineer supports the Cloud Common Platform Team by designing and building enterprise cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that enable development Teams to deliver solutions efficiently and securely. They’ll leverage tools such as Terraform and GitLab to develop reusable modules, templates, pipelines, and policies that support cloud adoption and modernization efforts across the organization. They’ll partner with application, Security, and Architecture Teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well‑integrated cloud solutions that align with enterprise standards. The Cloud DevOps Engineer leverages strong technical expertise and a continuous improvement mindset to drive platform innovation, accelerate delivery, and support Southwest’s cloud transformation strategy. Additional Details: This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in an approved remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work off-site.
