Jetfly Aviation is the Jetfly division dedicated to fractional aircraft ownership, serving over 500 co-owners across Europe. Luxembourg hosts the operational hub and administrative departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality service for all co-owners.
In order to strengthen the team, we’re looking for a highly motivated Accountant to take care of the A-Z accounting of several entities. Working in close coordination with relevant teams, the successful candidate must be an accounting expert with a high degree of interest in the aviation.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities, month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting and statutory compliance for a portfolio of entities.
The position requires a hands-on and autonomous accounting professional with strong attention to detail, a structured approach and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external advisors and service providers
Key Responsibilities include:
General Accounting
Day-to-day book-keeping
Perform data reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts in the relevant GAAP and format on a timely basis
Prepare documents to be shared with third parties
Maintain accurate master data files and support files
Ensure proper archiving of documents
Produce annual accounts in the relevant GAAP for various entities
Assist in audit process
Manage relationships with external service providers when required
Tax & regulatory
Assist in the coordination of the VAT returns and Tax returns preparation with our tax advisors
