The role
As a Library Administrator, you'll be responsible for delivering customer-focused library and information services that support learning, training, and day-to-day operations at MOD Lyneham. Working within a collaborative team, you'll help maintain an efficient and professional library service, ensuring trainees, staff, and visitors can access the resources they need to succeed.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Assist library users to access books, digital resources, and specialist information.
Manage the issue, return, and administration of library materials, including course resources.
Maintain accurate records through library management systems, stock control, and inventory checks.
Support trainees and staff with computer access, printing, scanning, and online learning systems.
Deliver library inductions and promoting library services to enhance engagement and awareness.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at MOD Lyneham.
Essential experience of the Library Administrator
Experience working within a library, learning resource centre, or similar customer-focused information environment.
Experience delivering excellent front-line customer service and responding to user enquiries.
