What are your contributions to the team?
• Establish and understand clients requirements and priorities
• Participate and/ or animate facility layout workshops with different stakeholders
• Work on autoCAD and Design floor plans for our future assembly lines while:
o Understanding and meeting the needs of your internal customers;
o Respecting the best practices used in our manufacturing industry;
o Optimizing employee safety while maximizing productivity
o Respecting costs, schedule and specifications of the project
• Estimate the costs and the implementation schedule
• Plan, execute and control floor plant layout projects that will position the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center for the future;
• Coordinate and participate in the overall planning of construction work
• Follow up on the progress of work with contractors and different stakeholders
• Communicating clearly at different hierarchical levels in the Organization;
• Solve various problems and propose potential solutions;
• Continuous improvement of the processes of your team.
How to thrive in this role?
2nd or 3rd year student in Industrial, mechanical or civil Engineering or a related discipline;
Strong knowledge in Autodesk Autocad software (Autodesk Inventor is an asset);
Know how to use the MS Office suite;
Are an excellent communicator with people skills and have a good team spirit;
Have a strong analysis and problem solving capacity;
