In this role you’ll
Develop test strategies and plans, ensuring traceability to requirements and compliance with CI/CD, Green IT, and industry standards (e.g., ISTQB).
Design, prepare, and execute functional and non-functional test cases; continuously update regression suites as features evolve.
Automate tests when needed, contribute to automation framework improvements.
Manage defects by logging issues, determining severity, supporting resolutions, and verifying fixes before release.
Report testing progress to stakeholders and ensure visibility of milestones.
Participate in specification and architecture reviews, providing feedback on potential risks and gaps.
Mentor newcomers, support QA peers, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the QA community.
Efficiently use and suggest improvements to QA tools and frameworks.
Drive process improvements and contribute to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of QA activities.
About the candidate
Requires a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
2–5+ years of experience in full-stack development and testing, with a preference for automation testing experience.
Familiarity with GIT is valued, and experience using Jira or working within Scrum and Agile frameworks would be advantageous.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Octane, Confluence, Selenium, travel industry (airlines/airports), NoSQL databases (Couchbase), and cloud platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
Strong oral, written, and analytical problem-solving skills required.
English proficiency is required.
