Job Description
Loadmasters are responsible for the supervision of safe and proper loading procedures for the flights they are assigned. They report to the Manager of Loadmasters. They will follow and direct the proper loading procedures, paperwork compliance, security compliance and safety compliance as well as Aircraft Loading Procedures.

Job Responsibilities
Ensure the cargo compartments of the aircraft is kept clean and free of debris, and promptly reports any missing, damaged and/or unserviceable components of the aircraft cargo loading and restraints systems or cargo equipment to appropriate company personnel. When any systems, restraints and/or components of the aircraft are involved, the Flight Crew must be notified immediately to ensure documentation in the aircraft logbook and notification processes are started as soon as possible.
Ensure that all cargo intended for carriage on the aircraft is properly packaged, labeled, restrained, weighed, and documented per company and government regulations.
Coordinate and supervise all cargo-related functions related to the flight, including inspection of ULDs, nets and pallets for airworthiness in accordance with established manufacturers’ guidelines.
Direct and supervise all labor groups that provide cargo and aircraft loading and unloading of freight to ensure maximum levels of safety, efficiency, and legality are maintained during all company cargo loading and unloading operations and to prevent injury to personnel and damage to the cargo, cargo equipment, and aircraft.
