Position Description
Responsible for the planning of commercial spares, and planning and acquisition of aircraft spares to support company’s operations at optimum costs.
What You'll Do
Development and maintenance of forecasting, provisioning, purchasing policies for aircraft spares.
Managing material planning function for commercial spares.
Forecasting company requirements for material and spares, planning inventory, stock turn, off-shelf performance and controlling inventory expenditure within plan.
Providing sufficient stock to reasonably satisfy production requirements and timely delivery of unavailable materials in accordance with the service levels with internal and external customers.
Work with Procurement Department for sourcing, price control and vendor performance monitoring.
Review and provide guidance to staff for customer requirement in parts handling with reference to contracted supply responsibility, GTI-C, customer GMM and / or any relevant documented requirement.
Production and periodical review of Material Management Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM Volume 15) in consultation with immediate supervisor.
Development and maintenance of computerized and manual systems and procedures.
Nomination and development of training programs for inventory operations staff.
Execute and monitor correction action resulting from quality audit by the Quality Department and other airworthiness authorities.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
