Join CAE's Airline Technical Support Services team as a Powerplant Engineer based in Shannon, Ireland.
Reporting to the Powerplant Specialist, you will support CAE airline clients across a range of engine management activities, including engine phase-in and phase-out projects, engine condition monitoring, maintenance planning support, and shop visit forecasting. You will work closely with airline
customers, OEMs, MRO providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the effective management of powerplant-related technical activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for engine deliveries, redeliveries, Base Maintenance, and Line Maintenance activities for CAE airline clients and the Fleet Technical Management team.
Manage and execute engine-related projects assigned by the Powerplant Specialist.
Liaise with OEMs including CFM, IAE, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell, and other suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Perform engine health monitoring, performance analysis, and technical reviews in coordination with OEM representatives.
Review and support the implementation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other applicable technical documentation.
Identify and support solutions to powerplant reliability issues in collaboration with customer Reliability teams and OEMs.
Prepare and deliver technical reports, recommendations, and presentations.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding powerplant activities and project status.
Coordinate and monitor engine and APU maintenance events with MRO providers and asset owners or lessors.
Support technical and commercial activities associated with maintenance visits, including invoice reviews and claim management.
