Role Introduction
Reports to: Business Transformation Manager
The Business Readiness Manager leads the implementation, cutover, and operational readiness activities for the Crew Tracking System Programme, ensuring a safe transition from design and testing through go-live, hypercare, and business adoption. Working closely with business stakeholders, operational teams, and vendors, the role develops implementation strategies, readiness frameworks, cutover plans, training, communications, and support models. The position ensures the new crew tracking solution meets operational requirements and is effectively embedded into daily airline operations. Acting as a bridge between business, operational, and technical teams, the role coordinates readiness activities across Crew Operations, Flight Operations, Inflight Services, IT, and other impacted functions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the end-to-end implementation strategy covering testing, training, cutover, go-live, stabilisation, and hypercare activities
Define and manage the implementation roadmap including milestones, dependencies, readiness criteria, and deployment approach
Lead business cutover planning and execution, ensuring all activities are coordinated, rehearsed, and successfully delivered
Establish operational readiness frameworks and assess readiness across people, processes, technology, data, training, and support
Manage go-live governance and approval, ensuring readiness gaps, risks, and dependencies are resolved before deployment
Partner with vendors and business stakeholders to ensure the crew tracking solution meets operational requirements and business objectives
Drive future-state process implementation, including operating procedures, target operating models, business rules, and workflow validation
Develop and deliver training, communications, and change readiness activities to prepare users for new processes and system functionality
Lead go-live support and hypercare, overseeing command centre activities, issue resolution, escalation management, and operational stabilisation
