With a schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off, working 24-hour shifts, you'll deliver top-notch critical care wherever the need arises. With a minimum of 3 years of licensed RN experience in a busy ICU, ER, Flight, or Critical Care Transport setting within the last 5 years, your expertise will be invaluable.

Job Summary
Responsible for providing high quality critical care including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by Air Methods Community Base Services (CBS) Medical Director(s). You’ll assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility and are responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of Air Methods CBS assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
The travel clinician will be assigned to the base for 18 months, working on a rotating schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off.
New York State Nursing License is REQUIRED to be considered for this position.
Applicants must reside at least 3 hours, drivetime, from Harris, NY.
If the position is backfilled by a local clinician during the assignment, the clinician may be reassigned to a new base based on the company’s needs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice from the initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility; maintains thorough patient care documentation.
