Overview
In this role the Lead Engineer will actively participate in global chemical and environmental regulatory compliance related projects to ensure the company’s products, materials, and processes comply with global chemical regulatory requirements. The role involves managing regulatory compliance projects, interpreting complex chemical regulation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining accurate compliance documentation for customer reporting and risk assessment.
Job Description
Lead Engineer (P2) - Material Compliance
Primary responsibilities
Assessment of MOC (Material of Concern) data at Part and Assembly level including material and finish processes.
Work with customers to address chemical regulatory queries and provide supporting documentation.
Coordinate with design team in material selection and MOC validation for new designs as per company policy.
Identification of regulatory risk to products and need for a mitigation plan.
Identify and validate the alternative materials for compliance to global chemical regulations.
Qualifications
2 to 4 years of work experience, preferably in a related field.
Bachelor’ degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering.
