Your role
As a Systems Engineer, you will join our Systems Engineering team within Business Unit Fighter Core Capabilities at Saab Surveillance. We develop safety-critical avionics systems for aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned platforms, working closely with other Saab organizations and external partners.
You will contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture to integration, verification, and delivery. Working in a requirements-driven development environment, you will collaborate with project managers, developers, test engineers, and customers to ensure our systems meet demanding safety and performance requirements.
Your responsibilities may include
Eliciting, analyzing, and managing system requirements.
Developing system architecture and system design.
Performing system safety analyses.
Planning, coordinating, and leading system integration activities.
Defining and driving system-level verification and validation activities.
Coordinating verification efforts across disciplines such as hardware, software, and systems engineering.
Following up on requirements coverage, verification status, and test results.
In this role, you will act as a key link between different areas of expertise and collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our systems meet requirements and perform as intended.
Your profile
This is a role for someone who enjoys working across technical disciplines and is motivated by understanding the bigger picture. We welcome candidates with a few years of experience, but also more senior profiles.
You hold a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience in requirements engineering, system architecture, verification and validation, or safety-critical systems is considered an advantage.
You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
