Position Description
Aircraft painters are responsible for applying primers and paint on an airplane’s body and components, paint polishing and detail paint touch ups.
What You'll Do
Strictly comply with aircraft approved data for painting
Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
Prepare for painting by masking, stripping, sanding, washing aircraft sections and components
Blends and mixes paints, inks, and coatings to proper spraying consistency- color matching
Perform paint polishing, apply spray paints to aircraft and / or aircraft components
Using stencils to create letters, numbers and other designs
Setup and operate various types of paint spraying equipment
Operate ground support equipment
Execute painting task to approved data and established quality standards
Job Requirements & Competencies
Able to understand and execute technical instructions
Able to work independently
Able to work overtime and night shift duty
Able to read technical English and Chinese
Qualification & Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in aircraft painting or related industrial painting
Holder of painting apprenticeship certificate is preferred
Candidate with lesser experience can be considered as Painting Assistant
