About the role
Overview
The Advisor, People Strategic Initiatives supports the delivery of priority projects across the People function through clear analysis, practical planning, and disciplined execution. The role helps translate emerging priorities into defined initiatives with clear outcomes, timelines, decision points, and delivery expectations.
Working across HR and enterprise teams, the Advisor supports workstreams tied to strategic initiatives, integration, operating model delivery, governance, process improvement, and HR PMO priorities. This role offers well-rounded enterprise People experience beyond a single HR portfolio, with exposure to senior leader priorities, cross-functional decision-making, and future ways of working for HR.
Reporting to the Director, Planning & Analytics, the Advisor partners closely with the Senior Advisor, People Strategic Initiatives and collaborates with People Analytics, HR Business Partners, Finance, and initiative owners to advance project delivery, manage risks, and escalate issues when senior direction is needed. The role also helps build capability across special projects, governance, transformation delivery, and AI-enabled process improvement.
Role Responsibilities
Support defined strategic People initiatives and project workstreams from analysis through implementation and handoff.
Manage assigned deliverables within clear scope, timelines, decision rights, risks, and success measures.
Turn strategic objectives into practical workplans, deliverables, stakeholder actions, and implementation steps.
Coordinate stakeholders, milestones, issues, dependencies, documentation, and follow-through across assigned projects.
Prepare clear analysis, options, recommendations, status updates, and decision materials for project sponsors and senior leaders.
Contribute to operating model, governance, integration, process improvement, and HR PMO initiatives that advance People priorities.
Develop and maintain practical project artifacts, process maps, templates, toolkits, and knowledge repositories.
