Position Summary
Our Marine Service organization supports critical engine and propulsion systems operating in demanding marine defense environments. As an Associate Marine Service Technician, you will assist with the troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, testing, and commissioning of engines, propulsion systems, and associated electronic controls aboard marine vessels. This highly mobile field-service role offers extensive hands-on technical experience while contributing directly to equipment reliability, customer readiness, and the continued improvement of Rolls-Royce marine solutions.
What you will be doing
Travel domestically and internationally on short notice up to 70–100% of the time to support the service, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, commissioning, and operation of marine engines, propulsion systems, and associated electronic control systems.
Analyze technical data and service requirements, define the scope of field activities, and prepare the parts, tools, instrumentation, and testing equipment needed to complete customer work safely and on schedule.
Inspect, instrument, test, and evaluate engines, propulsion systems, and related components, maintaining accurate engine, vessel, equipment, and service records.
