Job Summary: Join Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge team and play a critical role in manufacturing precision aerospace components that power the world's most advanced aircraft. As a Forge Team Member, you'll operate and monitor forging equipment, perform quality inspections, and help ensure every part meets the highest standards for safety, quality, and performance.
This is a 3rd Shift position: Sunday -Thursday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM
What You Will Do
Set up, operate, and monitor forging presses and related equipment to shape metal into precision aerospace components.
Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to perform machine setups and produce parts within required tolerances.
Inspect and measure forged parts using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with quality standards.
Install, adjust, and remove dies, fixtures, and tooling while monitoring equipment performance and identifying potential issues.
Work safely and collaboratively with teammates to maintain production flow, troubleshoot equipment, and support continuous improvement.
