Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform major & minor assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, testing & disposition of various types of components & accessories installed on premium seating & cabin interiors.
Bonding of upholstery on seating components.
Read technical drawings and data to determine the sequence of operations and ensure that work is performed according to appropriate specifications.
Completion of work packs and documentation accurately.
Strong focus on attention to detail in meeting customer cosmetic guidelines.
Follow quality procedures and standards.
Comply with all rules and regulations of Collins Aerospace, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance and Human Resources.
Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with upholstery and laminates.
Minimum Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in seating is required.
