Position Summary
As an Accounting Specialist in US Shared Services, you will be responsible for cash applications of all banking related deposits and applying those deposits to the customer accounts for all US based business units. You will also perform customer compliance checks for new customers based on requests from various business unit representatives. You will be collaborating closely with the line of business operational staff, finance staff, and Sr. Manager Shared Financial Services.
This hybrid role requires four days per week on-site at our Teterboro, NJ location, with one remote day. The posted hourly range will default to the applicable regional rate and will not include any premiums. The baseline range is $25.00-$30.77/hr which is equivalent to $52k - $64k annually, plus a performance-based bonus.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Two-four years or more of relevant accounts receivable and/or collections experience
Able to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective follow-up on assigned tasks
Must be be knowledgeable and proficient in Excel to create and maintain various schedules/reports
Must have experience in Microsoft Office, and Word to produce emails and professional letters
Operational knowledge of Outlook is required
Must be accurate and proficient in data entry
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently
