Purpose for the role
Etihad Airways is looking for a results-driven Sales Representative ( Key Account Manager) to lead sales activities for assigned trade and corporate accounts in Malaysia. You will build and manage key business relationships, monitor the market and competitor landscape, and drive revenue in line with Etihad's commercial targets, playing a direct role in the airline's growth and profitability in the region.
What you'll be doing
Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with assigned and prospective accounts to generate revenue for the organization
Meet regularly with accounts to communicate new products, services and promotions, and act as a trusted advisor to build long-term partnerships
Research and analyze competitor, market and industry information to shape the best sales approach and grow Etihad's market share
Coordinate with global sales enablement on promotional and sales techniques
Draft and negotiate contractual and commercial agreements in line with company policy
Represent Etihad at client meetings and external industry events
Lead strategy for new station/territory development and act as the primary point of contact for GSA partners where applicable
Lead country or area commercial projects as assigned
Coach and mentor new Sales Representatives joining the team, including onboarding, training and client visit support
Execute a structured sales activity plan using available tools, data and insights from Sales Strategy and Planning
Analyze market potential to identify and convert sales opportunities into revenue
Maintain accurate and current customer data in Etihad's CRM system
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant sales experience
Airline industry sales experience is required
Strong commercial and analytical skills, with relevant market experience
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor team members
Strong stakeholder management skills across departments, regions and HQ functions
