Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Policy and Strategy Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, NY.
What you will get to do
Independently plan, prepare, and lead internal audits, end to end, with a focus on compliance to AS9100, NG corporate, sector, and site requirements.
Complete audit reports to communicate noncompliance and recommendations to stakeholders, by creating detailed records including objective evidence.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of defects or non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Partner with process owners to:
Interpret and apply NG policy and procedure requirements
Maintain AS9100-compliant processes, records, and metrics
Develop and maintain site audit metrics and dashboards; analyze trends; recommend systemic improvements.
Provide input to the annual internal audit program and manage the detailed audit schedule in coordination with the Quality and Mission Assurance managers.
Ensure consistency of audit methods and reporting.
Support external audit readiness (evidence organization, traceability, mock audits).
Support internal and external certification audits (e.g., customer and third-party registrars).
