The National Fleet and Disposal Co-ordinator provide and oversees NAV CANADA’s national vehicle fleet to meet internal operational requirements in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The position manages day-to-day fleet activities, including fuel, repairs, maintenance, licensing and registration, and oversees the day-to-day operational performance of NAV CANADA’s contracted fleet services provider against established contractual and service requirements.
The position facilitates fleet acquisitions by gathering operational requirements and supporting the evaluation, procurement or leasing of vehicles and specialized fleet equipment within approved procurement processes and delegated authorities. The position also coordinates the disposition of fleet assets that have reached the end of their lifecycle or have been identified as surplus to operational requirements within approved disposal processes and delegated authorities. Key Accountabilities
Coordinate and oversee NAV CANADA's national fleet program, ensuring vehicles and specialized equipment are available, properly maintained, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements.
Manage fleet operations, including maintenance, repairs, fuel programs, telematics, licensing, registration, and vendor service delivery to ensure efficient and cost-effective fleet performance.
Maintain accurate fleet asset inventories, records, and lifecycle data while supporting fleet reporting, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
