The Value Stream Lead (VSL) is the primary interface between Operations to the program administration team and the lead of the integrated product team for the program operations. This position is responsible for the total program life cycle, from bid/proposal through development/EDM, transition to delivery, production, and depot/sustainment. The VSL will make strategic decisions for the direction of the program related to manufacturing plans and program, including representing the factory in making/buying decisions and technical/producibility trades and Cost Reduction Initiatives.
