At SAS, our pilots play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and exceptional journeys for our travelers. As the Talent Acquisition Pilot Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing the pilot recruitment function in cloise collaboration with all SAS Air Operator Certificates (AOCs).
In this role, you will lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals while overseeing the end-to-end pilot recruitment process, ensuring operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong candidate experience. You will work closely with business leaders, Pilot Assessors, Planning, Training and other teams to attract, assess, and hire the pilots needed to support SAS's operational ambitions.

Key Responsibilities & Mandate
As Talent Acquisition Pilot Team Lead, you will shape and drive the pilot recruitment strategy across SAS while ensuring excellent execution of day-to-day recruitment activities. You will lead and develop the pilot recruitment process across all AOCs, adapting priorities and resources to meet operational and business needs.
You will be responsible for leading operational pilot recruitment projects, steering committees, and key stakeholder forums while ensuring compliance with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements. The role includes driving continuous improvement of recruitment processes, systems, and technology platforms, including ATS solutions, reporting, and recruitment analytics.
A central part of the role is establishing and monitoring key performance indicators such as conversion rates, candidate experience, and diversity metrics. By analyzing recruitment data and market trends, you will identify opportunities for improvement and drive data-informed decision-making across the pilot recruitment function.
