About the role
As a Specialist – Controlling and Reporting, you will manage and continuously enhance controlling processes within Group Engine Management (GEM). In this role, you will support GEM’s Engine Leasing and Asset Management Team.
Tasks
Manage lease-related invoicing processes, including invoice verification, discrepancy resolution, customer invoicing, and coordination with Accounting
Support procurement and purchase order (PO) management by creating purchase orders and verifying supplier invoices for contractual compliance
Maintain and update the Lease Cost Database, monitor fleet-related changes, and support cost forecasting and planning activities
Contribute to budget planning, financial closing, and alignment of financial data with key stakeholders across GEM and Lufthansa Group
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Engine Asset Management databases and related interfaces
Provide data and analyses for reporting and KPI monitoring purposes
Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, proactively coordinating clarifications and supporting cross-functional collaboration
*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in controlling, finance, cost accounting, or a related area
Experience working in an international corporate environment
Very good command of English, both written and spoken
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, analytical functions, and data visualization
Good knowledge of SAP
Experience in lease and asset management would be considered an advantage

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
Willingness to travel within Europe approximately once per month
