12-month Aircraft Performance Internship (Montreal)
The Aircraft Performance team is responsible for providing certified and operational performance data that defines the capabilities of our aircraft. We contribute to the development of new aircraft or derived aircraft and participate in maintaining the airworthiness of our in-service aircraft. The team also participates in flight testing activities and interacts with various certification agencies to meet all safety and airworthiness requirements.
During your internship, you will contribute to
Developing methods and software to analyse and visualize aircraft flight test and simulation data.
Optimizing and standardizing methods and tools used in Engineering for aircraft development.
Supporting engineers in their analyses during the aircraft development, testing and certification.
Proposing analytical or semi-empirical methods to certify avionics software using neural networks.
Exploring potential applications of artificial intelligence for development of aircraft performance models.
Promoting the usage of efficient IT tools in engineering work.
Increasing the teams’ IT competencies through training.
During your internship, you will learn:
How to apply your software and data analytics knowledge to concrete examples in the aerospace world.
