The role

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of key work packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required scope. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and stakeholders, internal and external resources, to manage their delivery appropriately. You will help drive project performance while contributing to programmes that support national security and critical infrastructure. This role offers excellent opportunities to further develop your project management expertise within a highly respected defence, aerospace and engineering environment.
Developing, maintaining and controlling project schedules to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
Monitoring project costs, forecasts and budgets to ensure successful financial performance.
Managing internal and external suppliers to achieve project objectives for time, cost and scope.
Facilitating collaborative working across project teams, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Identifying, assessing and managing project risks, opportunities and issues to support successful delivery.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
