Job Summary: Join Pratt & Whitney’s Asheville team as a Quality Inspector and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and airworthiness of aerospace components. You’ll perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret drawings and technical specifications, document results, and partner with Operations to identify and resolve quality issues while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
This is a 3 rd Shift position: Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 7:30 am
What You Will Do
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components, including blades, vanes, tools, gages, and equipment, using drawings, inspection procedures, specifications, and a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments.
Perform in-process and final inspections, including over-inspects, to verify dimensions, workmanship, and compliance with required process steps and technical standards.
Use automated and precision inspection equipment, including Keyence and profilometers as applicable, to accurately measure and document inspection results.
