What You Will Do
Support manufacturing processes, including equipment, floor layouts, work sequences, work instructions, procedures, and workflow.
Conduct studies focused on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory management, and production record systems.
Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks, and collaborate with design teams to incorporate changes to mitigate these risks.
Manage moderately sized projects or processes.
Independently resolve problems that are challenging and often complex.
Develop tactical plans to address and manage day-to-day challenges.
Travel to local Iowa regional sites as needed.
What You Will Learn
Gain hands-on experience as an industrial engineer supporting the manufacturing processes for high-frequency communication radios and circuit board production.
Learn to use engineering tools commonly applied in process areas, such as SAP, engineering drawings, change control boards, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, eView, and PDM.
