Job Description
This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position. This position will support the facilities parts/ materials warehouse while managing inventory levels and spare parts. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a warehouse environment. Candidates must possess attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is for a candidate who will support personnel across multiple shifts as well as multi-level management. Candidates will work independently and as a group/team sourcing parts, ordering materials, and helping to maintain min/max levels.
Essential Functions
Work with Logistics team, including Warehousing, Receiving & Shipping.
Work within a production environment, including material handling.
Unpack material received and assure that it properly stored, and all relevant transactions are done on the MRP system to show the location of the material.
Interface with other departments as required ensuring control and coordinate for efficient material flow.
Monitor of receipts, issues and stock movements within the warehouse, external suppliers and other L3Harris segments.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, and lift 32 pounds.
